Christmas Day Recap!

Christmas morning at the Antoniou's.

I did good.
You can check out what I got my broski on Paper Boy!
I'm such an awesome sister.

Then it was over the hill and through woods
to Grandma's house we go!

The dessert spread was such a treat photograph!
... and eat.

And I had to include these...

Are they not the cutest hand warmers
you've ever seen?

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Mom's gifts under the tree.

I love that our first snowfall of December
happened on Christmas morning!
And it's the perfect sprinkling of flurries.
So pretty.

I'm going to finish my coffee,
open my presents with my family
and watch the Polar Express.

December never felt so wrong

Winter Song
Sara Bareilles - Ingrid Michaelson

I've loved this song
ever since one of my best friends
sent it to me from across the country.
Now I can actually relate to it.
Which I guess makes it even better?
In a way?

I'm just excited to go home for the holidays.

A Very Robin Scherbatsky Christmas

Jessica and I bought our very first Christmas tree together.
We named her Kristen and she's from British Columbia.
We bought her from an adorable Canuck around the corner
from our Upper East Side apartment.

She's the Robin Scherbatsky of Christmas Trees.
(A Canadian New Yorker for those of you who don't
watch How I Met Your Mother)

That water bottle is Kristen's.
It's how we feed her!

So how do you fully dress a Christmas tree
when you're rent poor and have no ornaments?

Here's how!

White lights.

Old school newspaper garland.
We used The Globe and Mail straight from Canada!

Colorful candy canes
and restaurant post cards for ornaments.

And a very special topper.
One of my belts from J.Crew.

Here we go!

Kristen, all lit up.

The garland is next!

Trim on the tree and constipation on the face.
Constipated or about to sneeze.. I can never tell.

Candy Canes!

Pretty girl!

Almost there!

Finishing touches..
Beautiful Kristen!

And theeeen Spidey came to town!

My Spidey Senses say
"that shit's creepy!"

Pretty little things at night.

It was such a nice winter night on Saturday.
Jessica and I walked her sister's dog from
the Upper East Side all the way to midtown.
Six avenues up and 20 blocks down.
It was so cold but so beautiful.
