Astrology mixed with fashion captured through

amazing photography.

In the December 2010 issue of Vogue UK,

fashion photographer Tim Gutt portrayed the 12 signs of 

the zodiac through the beauty of model Siri Tollerod and 

the wearable art of high end fashion designers such 

as Lanvin, Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane.

Let us not forget to credit out shoot stylist Kate Phelan

and set designer Shona Heath.

This shoot gives me goosebumps.. I can't believe I 

just now stumbled across this..

This team really got creative in portraying each sign..

Each photograph makes you think a little.

The answer isn't always super obvious...

Which was my favorite part of looking through this spread.

I think my favorite overall piece was Aries.. 

I thought that was a great way to get the point across,

without being cliche.

Outside-of-the-box thinking at it's best!

I do want to frame Virgo though... 

The colors are so beautiful.

It is all just very witty  and smart.

And the execution was flawless!

I just hope to be apart of something like this one day.

Island in the sun..

So Nantucket was beautiful.

I literally couldn't put my camera down.

The weather was beautiful.

The inn was gorgeous and very.... quaint.

No TV... and the closet was in the bathroom.

But it was so pretty. 

I've always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast/inn!

I recommend that all couples do so at some point...

And that is because you're forced to think up ways to entertain yourselves

without the help of music or television.

I know I sound ridiculous.. 

but Mike and I usually hang out while watching Pawn Stars

and American Pickers...... and Bathtastic with host Matt Muenster.

First day... looking as WASPy as possible!

Breakfast in bed!

This is where we ate dinner on our anniversary..

The food was delicious... but by the end of the experience 

we found ourselves running the nearest dive bar on the island.

We're just bad at being WASPs..

The antique stores were amazing!

Everything (as you can see) 

was so green and whimsical! 

Such a beautiful island.

 Everything looked like it was a picture out of a catalogue... 

Just amazing.

And I loved how everyone was always dressed

so nice! There wasn't a slob in sight!

I am still kicking myself for not taking a photo of this one woman.

She was really petite and she was wearing these really interesting

flat form lace-up shoes that were completely constructed of straw.

Then she had on brown cropped cigarette leg pants..

her top was a vintage mustardy camel flower design knit

and her final piece were these amazing thick, ox blood red, plastic, round spectacles.

Oh... my... lordy Lord.

Just amazing.

And of course she had most adorable British accent.

Anyways.. The trip was just great.

I am a very lucky girl.

Off to Nantucket!

Rushing, rushing, rushing this morning!

Trying to pack suitcases with things hidden in boxes!

I'm a little frazzeled to say the least.. but super excited 

because Mike and I are going here this weekend:

The House of Seven Gabels in Nantucket!

I plan on riding bikes, taking beautiful pictures 

and enjoying an amazing anniversary dinner with Mr. MD.

Hopefully the weather will behave.

This day deserves a clam bake

This is what M and I looked like today...

Move out day has come..

It's going by quicker than expected.

Which is sad..

Two years taken down in two hours.

I'm not sentimental..

I'm just mental.

Now I can just relax and save my money!

And tonight, me and my honey and some

friends are going to the WFNX Clam Bake!

What an awesome way to end

such a hectic day.

Relaxing with a beer,

some seafood and live music.

Sorry guys.. I'm totally slacking this week.

I've had a lot on my plate.  

I really expected to sit at home and just blog my little heart out.. but no.  

Between renewing pretty much everything to do with my car..

and Dr.'s appointments, and moving... I've had zero time to myself this week.

Thank god I am going away this weekend.

I need an actual vacation after my week of "vacation!"

It's our two year anniversary this weekend.

Today is a special day...

IT'S LIL K'S BIRTHDAY!

Rain, rain GO AWAY!

So I'm still in my apartment..

I couldn't actually move because the damn weather wouldn't stop be poopy!

But this weekend... was lovely.

My friends are absolutely amazing.

I worked on Saturday.. two of my really good friends met me at the mall

(little did I know... to distract me) and we ate at the MET Bar.

Oh my holy LORD we got the most amazing appetizers! 

Tuna tartare, fresh guacamole and buffalo battered shrimp.

MMMMM!

Then we shopped around and went home.

When I opened the door, Michael and my roommates (mostly my roommates)

had candles everywhere, with twinkle lights and floral! 

I wish my backyard looked like this..

They had invited all of my close friends over for a final H Street Apartment bash.

So sweet.

My Noodle made the best sangria!! 

I guess her secret was to add a little more Brandy than usual.

Which lead to a great time.

I am so lucky to have such great people in my life.
