Brunches, lunches and everything in between.

This Memorial Day Weekend was filled with friends, family, 

lots of food... and a zoo! My cousin arrived on Friday and from 3pm on our 

days were packed with fantastic restaurants, some pottery painting, great drinks, 

a trip to the Central Park Zoo (my first time),  Brooklyn Flea, some shopping 

and The Great Gatsby 3D (it was awesome.. I don't care what anyone else says)!

Theeeen some besties from home showed up.  So the tour of Williamsburg continued!

I am exhausted and on my way to Washington, DC at the moment. Love an 8am train ride!

Planting Wild Flowers

Today is the perfect day for some city gardening.

I planted wild flowers in my most favorite gift (thank you Aimee)!

I figure if I could do it in 3rd grade I should be able to do it at 27.

I shall document the growth of my newest floral addition!

Tis the season to get hitched!

I am 27 years old which means every week I get either an engagement 

text or pregnancy text or a "can you help me with my wedding?" text.

Luckily I have a group of the most talented and creative friends.

Having their level of creativity means they throw some of the most kick ass 

parties I've ever experienced.  They put Pinterest to shame! 

{Fact: my girls are the most driven, skilled and attractive females..}

 The latest of these celebrations was my sorority sister Tiffany's wedding!  

I was lucky enough to be able to paint the entry piece that was 

signed by each of her and her husband's guests.

Daisy Daisy was a song that Tiff's grandfather use to sing to her when 

she was younger..  it's an old school song for an old school kind of love!

Just perfect.

I took literally 600 photos at this wedding so you bet your butt 

I will be doing a post on that VERY soon.

Sadah and I ventured off to Brooklyn Flea yesterday.

...and by ventured off I mean, walked in our back yard...

We found some great furniture and rugs for her apartment and

we also discovered our new favorite floral vendor, The Wild Ivy.

I purchased that little fern you see above and a new crown for summer!

They give you wild flower seeds as a gift with purchase.  So excited!
