I can't wait for Valentine's Day!!!

I have always loved Valentine's Day.
Pretty sure it's because my mom would
make the most kick ass Valentine's baskets!

Moms are so sweet.

Plus I love pink and red together.
Always have.

This looks like the Valentine's I made!

I love hearts and love and craft projects.
I KNOW... it's like a month away..
but I'm so excited!!!

A little Sunday surprise.

As my friends and I were going to
catch a cab in the South Street Seaport we
found this little place!

The South Street Seaport Museum
aka
Bowne & Co., Stationers.

I love this city.

Then I found these...

The owner.. Robert.. was so excited to know
that my blog URL was Life Size Paperdoll.

He was so sweet.

He wouldn't let me leave without buying the
"life size paper doll" kit, so he let
me have it for half price.
$7.50!

It will be hanging
on my wall soon enough!

I'm thinking about framing the life size clothing too!
Should be a good time.  Photos to come.

This was my favorite.
I love anchors and I love Valentine's Day.
So glad we went into this place.

If you're in the area and appreciate hand made
prints and cards you should definitely stop in.
The prices are great and Robert is a very nice man.
Great conversationalist.

South Street Seaport Museum.
Look it up.

I want this so bad!

Goldfish Ring by Vera Balyra

I don't know what it is with me and goldfish,
but I just love them so much!
It might have something to do with them being
the only pet I was allowed to have growing up
ie Tinkerbell I-III.

Someone buy this for me pleeease!
I've been such a good girl lately!

How cute would the size 5.5
look on my left ring finger?
So cute. That's how cute.

Long live Tink!

This day reassured me of why I moved here.

Sunday was awesome.
My friend Sadah and I went over the East River
and through the woods of The River Cafe exploring
and experiencing the beautiful side of Brooklyn!

Actually we had bigger plans for the day..
which completely fell through, but it turned out
to be an awesome day.

We started out wanting to go see the World Trade Memorial.
We failed miserably.  You need tickets and by the time we went
to get in line the wait was outrageous.  Then we realized
that we live here......... and we could purchase tickets online
and come back another day.  It took us way too long
to figure that one out.

We walked through the cemetery.
It was comforting.  It felt like home.
(Massachusetts has a loooot of cemeteries.)
Needless to say it was beautiful.

Then we went to the South Street Seaport
and got on a ferry to go over to DUMBO!

These photos are from our ferry ride to Brooklyn!
It was just a liiiittle cold.
Brr.

Here are our adventures in DUMBO..

This carousel was so pretty.
It was encased by glass which let the most
beautiful natural light it.
So cute.

We wondered through the garden at
The River Cafe!

We enjoyed some Hotty Toddies at
Roebling Tea Room in Williamsburg.

And then we ended the night with some Spanish food.
Yum!

Good times!
Love my new weekend buddy!

Seasonless Skort on a Winter day.

This my friends, is a modern day "Skort."
Yes.  As of recent I've been bringing back the 90's
via my angsty spirit and my grade school garb.
Embrace it. Love it. Deal with it.

Angst.
Probably wiping a tear away.

Creepy smile aka Chach-face.

ADD.  What?

Real life action shot!
Adventures in DUMBO.

Another great example of a third grade throw back..
My crushed velvet floral overalls.

I mean ladies...
if this doesn't get you a man.. then, I just give up.
Honestly.... I gave up.

Dressing for the girls is what I do.
And the first straight boy to appreciate that..
will most likely be the one.

Just the tips.

Mallory Sophronia found this gem.
It's like Ke$ha meets... me.
Love it.
Love her.
<3

We don't have to talk about the fact
that this is the queen of no personality's
hair... aka Lauren Conrad.
